New songs I’ve recorded since my debut album

WHO?

I'm a songwriter and guitarist who came to Japan as a college exchange student and never went back home.

In the 80’s I met hit-maker Tets Hayashi and began writing English lyrics for a number of projects. In 1988 Tets and I won the ACC Music Award for the commercial song “Taste the Love,” written for Nescafé.

With my English lyrics gaining positive feedback from his foreign musician friends, Tets asked me to write the lyrics for his all-English language album “Touch the Sun,” which was released in late 2015.

In 2016 I made my songwriting debut with the album “Once …” , produced by Tets Hayashi.

1980年代に入ると、作曲家・林哲司と出会い、彼の作品の英語の作詞を手掛け、1988年発表の〈ネスカフェ〉CMソング「Taste The Love」はACC賞の音楽賞を受賞。

手掛ける英詞は海外ミュージシャンからも高い評価を受け、2015年に発表された林哲司の全編英語のアルバム「Touch the Sun」では、全曲を作詞（インスト曲を除く）。

2016年、林哲司プロデュース「once…」でデビュー。
